The concept for Tre came about as the client considered what the demands of our increasingly small urban apartment lifestyles place on our furniture. At any given moment in cities around the world, people are on a couch, in front of a big screen (tv), a smaller screen (laptop/tablet), and our smallest screen (mobile) while simultaneously juggling food and beverages with remotes and who knows what else.
Initial ideas were narrowed down to focus on a slim, modern table with removable trays and a place to prop up phones and tablets.
